The longevity of an artwork can effected by many things such as temperature, witch causes tings to melt, fire causing things to burnt, freezing witch can fracture works, the tides which can wash away, time causing erosion, position witch can cause corrosion, external elements such as wind can blow of things as I found out during my experiment.
also humans can effect art for example a pise of street graphitty will by soon painted over eather with white paint to get rid of it or other competitors re spray there own work over the top
